Self-Defense
The most obvious part of a karate program is gaining the ability to defend one's self, but this is just a single part of many lessons we teach.
Self-Discipline
Regular practice teaches children that success comes from consistent effort. They begin to apply this same dedication to homework, chores, and personal goals.
Self-Control
Through structured training, students learn to manage their emotions and reactions. This discipline helps them make better choices at home and in school.
Self-Esteem
As kids master new techniques, they see their own progress and believe in their abilities. This confidence carries over into every area of their lives.
Respect
From using "Ma'am & Sir" to supporting classmates, our students learn that respect is earned through actions. It fosters kindness, humility, and teamwork.
Perseverance
Kids learn to keep going even when something is hard. That “never give up” attitude becomes a powerful life skill for school and beyond.
Focus
Each class trains students to tune out distractions and stay present. Improved focus boosts their performance in academics and daily responsibilities.
Physical Fitness
Our classes keep kids active while having fun. They build strength, flexibility, and coordination that lead to healthier habits for life.

Kids' Martial Arts Classes for Safe and Supportive Learning.
As a parent, it can be overwhelming to try and identify the best martial arts program for your child.
You want them to experience the important benefits of martial arts, but also want to ensure they are learning in a safe and supportive environment.
Most martial arts programs focus on the physical aspect but neglect the mental and emotional aspects of martial arts training, leading to an unbalanced learning experience for kids. Plus they often lack specializations that cater to children with different abilities.
Our kids’ martial arts program delivers all these important benefits. Helping them reach their full potential in a safe and supportive learning environment.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a beginner's class expectation?
Beginning a martial arts program can be daunting, but there’s nothing to worry about! A beginner’s class typically includes an introduction to the basics of American Kenpo, including basic strikes, blocks, and stances. The focus is on developing fundamental skills that serve as a foundation for future training.
Are there any additional fees beyond the monthly membership fee?
Absolutely not! No hidden fees – just one straightforward monthly membership fee that unlocks a world of incredible benefits. Our commitment to transparency ensures you can confidently enjoy all the fantastic perks without any unexpected costs. Join our growing community of thrilled members who have already discovered the exceptional value we offer.
What is the average class size?
We maintain an average class size of just 15-20 students at a time in our Kids Martial Arts classes.
This smaller class size ensures that our dedicated instructors can provide individualized coaching and guidance, helping your child develop and excel in Martial Arts at their own pace. Plus, with a close-knit community of fellow students, they’ll enjoy a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Is Martial Arts Dangerous?
Although any sport or activity has some risk involved, our team of certified instructors follow safety protocols to ensure a safe and supportive environment for our students. In fact, unlike sports which has one adult supervising an entire team, we have multiple instructors monitoring a room at all times making sure everything runs smoothly. We understand that each student has their own unique limits and we encourage rest and feedback during exercise.
Does my child need to be athletic to benefit from martial arts?
Our classes are tailored towards accommodating students regardless of their weight, age, abilities, or energy levels. Astonishingly, many of our students have tried sports and other athletic activities only to realize it’s not for them. Martial arts is often a sanctuary in these cases as competition is eliminated and each student only attempts what they feel comfortable doing.
Are these classes for boys or can my daughter do it?
There are a lot of girls in many of our classes, as there are boys. Girls love martial arts just as much, and get the same fulfillment out of it as boys do. Also, girls are just as tough as boys in our classes. Some are even tougher! So you don’t have to worry about your little girl getting hurt or feeling scared because she’ll be practicing with boys. In fact, the boys may even be the ones who are scared.

Ages 3-5 Years Old
Our martial arts program for children ages 3 to 5 is specially designed to support early childhood development through movement, structure, and fun. At this stage, kids are full of energy and curiosity, and martial arts offers the perfect environment to channel both in a positive, productive way.
A major focus of our program is coordination—one of the most important skills young children can develop. Through carefully planned drills, obstacle courses, and basic martial arts techniques, students learn how to control their bodies, improve balance, and move with purpose. These activities help strengthen motor skills, enhance spatial awareness, and create a foundation for future athletic success.
But martial arts training at this age goes far beyond physical skills. Our classes introduce important character-building lessons such as listening, patience, kindness, and teamwork. Children learn how to follow instructions, take turns, and interact respectfully with others. These habits support social and emotional development and often carry over into home and school life.
We also focus on building confidence—one of the biggest benefits parents see. By celebrating small victories, mastering simple techniques, and completing fun challenges, children learn to believe in themselves and become more willing to try new things.
Every class is structured, safe, and age-appropriate, led by instructors who specialize in early childhood training. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where kids feel excited to learn, motivated to grow, and proud of their progress.
With consistent martial arts training, your child will develop better coordination, stronger focus, improved behavior, and a confident mindset that sets the stage for lifelong success.
Ages 6-12 Years Old
Our Kids Martial Arts program is designed to teach much more than just punches and kicks. We focus on helping children develop discipline, respect, and self-confidence, all while having fun. By providing a safe and supportive environment, we help kids learn how to set goals, overcome challenges, and stand up to bullying. It’s a fantastic way for your child to grow both mentally and physically.
Teens
Our teen martial arts program is built to meet the needs of today’s young adults—offering a powerful blend of physical fitness, mental discipline, and character development. These years are full of big changes, new pressures, and growing responsibilities, and martial arts provides a positive, structured environment where teens can thrive.
Classes focus heavily on physical conditioning, helping teens build strength, agility, endurance, and flexibility through dynamic drills and martial arts techniques. At an age when many teens become less active, our program keeps them engaged, motivated, and committed to a healthy lifestyle.
Equally important is the development of self-confidence. Martial arts gives teens clear goals, consistent challenges, and a supportive community to grow in. As they master new skills, push through obstacles, and earn higher ranks, they gain a deep sense of accomplishment that translates into everyday life—boosting confidence at school, in social settings, and even in future career paths.
We also emphasize self-discipline and focus, teaching teens how to manage stress, stay committed, and set long-term goals. These lessons help improve academic performance, attitude, and time management—skills that become essential as they move toward adulthood.
Another key benefit is leadership development. Teens learn how to assist younger students, communicate clearly, and serve as positive role models. This builds maturity, responsibility, and empathy—qualities parents love to see grow.
Martial arts training also reinforces the importance of respect, integrity, and good decision-making, giving teens a strong moral compass in an age where influences can be challenging.
Our instructors create a safe, encouraging, and empowering environment where teens feel supported, valued, and part of a community that pushes them to become the best version of themselves.
With consistent training, teens build physical strength, mental resilience, leadership skills, and a confident mindset that prepares them for success in school, work, and life.
